MasterKey for ArchiCAD - Linking a Masterspec database into your project

Logging in will unlock all the Keynotes functionality in MasterKey for ArchiCAD. To start using MasterKey you must first link the keynotes database from your Masterspec specification.

LINK A MASTERSPEC DATABASE

You link keynotes from a Masterspec Project into ArchiCAD by selecting Cadimage > Keynotes > Keynotes Manager. 

Select the Link button, and then Masterspec Project.

Masterspec projects are organised by their NextGen2 status. This helps navigate to the required specification. These statuses are

  • Being Edited
  • Complete
  • Archived

Use the search field box to find a particular project if you have a large number of specifications.

Select OK once you locate your project name. 

Once you select OK, you will be presented with a new Keynotes Review Window showing you the keynotes database. This will link to Review as Project Keynotes.

When linked, the Keynotes palette will display with all the Keynotes available to use.

Subscribe to MasterKey

Select the Subscribe button to go to the MasterKey subscription page. Here you can add the MasterKey tool to your Masterspec subscription. Once completed download the contract agreement and organise payment.

Please note to access MasterKey you must have a current practice subscription to Masterspec* and each user must have a personal Masterspec user profile and password. If you do not have a subscription or personal account see the links below.

If you do not have a Masterspec Subscription you must choose and subscribe to at least one Masterspec library to enable a MasterKey subscription.
