Masterspec SCNZ Structural

A specialist specification based on SCNZ’s New Zealand Structural Steelwork Specification in Compliance with AS/NZS 5131.

Masterspec and SCNZ have partnered to promote consistent adoption of AS/NZS 5131 throughout New Zealand’s construction industry, combining our AS/NZS 5131 content on a purpose-built digital platform called the ‘Masterspec SCNZ Structural Steel Library’.

Based on SCNZ's New Zealand Structural Steelwork Specification in compliance with AS/NZS 5131, this new library helps to minimise risk and seamlessly integrates with other project teams. 

Access to Masterspec SCNZ Structural Steel Library is available at no extra cost to SCNZ members and Structural and Civil library subscribers.

Content
The work sections are set up to encompass content under SCNZ's New Zealand Structural Steelwork specification in accordance with AS/NZS 5131. The library also includes general sections for project documentation and additional sections for protective coatings for steelwork

Always up to date - content reviews & updates are triggered by changes to legislation, standards, industry codes of practice or by the availability of new materials/processes. Updates are published monthly.

The structure of Services follows CBI and clauses appear under General, Products, Execution and Selections division headings. We use the legal-decimal numbering system with the same structure across all work sections.
