What is CBI? Masterspec’s Coordinated Building Information Coding System

Co-ordinated Building Information is most frequently referred to as CBI. It is a classification and coding system built for the New Zealand construction sector and is maintained and managed by Masterspec for the industry. CBI was designed to coordinate the five main information sources: drawings; specifications; quantities; technical and research information; trade information and publications.
