Every month Masterspec update our existing libraries and publish new work sections, most of which are new Product Partner branded work sections. This page will be updated on a monthly basis to bring you the latest in product performance documentation from New Zealand's best Manufacturers and Suppliers.

Masterspec have published five new work sections from new Product Partner Apco Coatings Limited. Three new general paint sections include the Apco Coating Limited range of internal and external paint systems. These sections are designed to be used by combining the General section with one or both of the other sections.

In addition to the general paint sections we have published two specialised steelwork intumescent and protective coating sections. These sections include the Jotun range of intumescent and protective painting systems for use over mild steel and galvanised steel. The Jotun range of products are distributed by Apco Coatings Limited. This section relates to the preparation and coating of Apco Coatings (NZ) Ltd Jotun protective coating systems for steelwork including exterior and interior structural steelwork, exterior and interior galvanized steelwork and thermal metal spray steelwork.

NEW WORK SECTION 4251PF PSP ALPOLIC® FR ALUMINIUM CLADDING SYSTEM
This new section relates to the design, fabrication, supply and installation of PSP Limited ALPOLIC®/fr aluminium composite panels to building envelopes including walls, parapets, fascia and soffits. PSP ALPOLIC®/fr surface coatings are finished with a high performance Lumiflon-based fluoropolymer coating (FEVE) as standard. With the reverse side coated with polyester-based wash coating or service coating to protect it from any potential corrosion issues. This coating system has many benefits over traditional PVDF coatings such as durability, wider range of gloss levels and effects like sparking, metallic and prismatic.

The Resene Construction Systems Monotek® Render Systems is a finishing system for use over Monotek® sheet cavity construction wall cladding. RCS Monotek® Render Systems comprises of a fibreglass reinforced jointing plaster, a mineral or acrylic base coat and level coat render and a mineral or acrylic pre-coloured texture coating over. The system is finished with Resene X200 waterproofing membrane.

NEW WORK SECTION 5316SC STEELFORMERS CEILING BATTEN SYSTEM
The Steelformers Ceiling Batten System is manufactured using 0.55mm BMT G550 high tensile GALVSTEEL® from New Zealand Steel. The ceiling battens are cut to your required lengths (up to 10m), saving on product wastage and labour to install. Being light weight makes for easy installation and having the dimpled surface assists in preventing screw movement. Suitable for residential and commercial applications, the system can be used for directly supporting single layered plasterboard ceiling linings in buildings within the scope of NZS 3604 or NASH Standard Part 2 - Light Steel Framed Buildings.
