| These instructions relate to using Masterspec Link with the Masterspec Standard, Structural & Civil, Services, Landscapes, Basic and Interiors Libraries. Link operates slightly differently with Masterspec Minor Residential - seperate instructions are at the bottom of the navigation. Which versions of the Masterspec files are being downloaded The latest available version of the Masterspec files are downloaded. The very first time a work section is accessed a copy is kept on your hard drive. On subsequent accesses of the work section the version available on the web will be checked against the version on your hard drive. If they are the same the copy from your hard drive will be inserted in your document. If there has been a re-issue of Masterspec you will be asked if you want to update to the newer version. A yes will download a newer version to your hard drive and then into your specification, and a no will take the older version from your hard drive and add it to your document. Next.... |
